Hopefully this is mod material and will come soon enough, half the code for doing this seemed to be there when you look at the cooking / smithing usage as to what ingredients you need to make an item but dont have all the required items. I think what is needed that known potions combinations are displayed but just greyed out if you don't have the ingredients when using an alchemy table, or better yet as Cevar put it, combine the alchemy satchel and your inventory when making potions. Or spend hours replacing 94 ingredients into a storage item each time you muck about with alchemy. Recall the info and have a flat mind set of which are the best potions to use and choose from a select few. Factor in adding a third ingredient to enhance the potion you want to make and I'm sorry it's a mess.Д®ither you pen and ink the information / look it up on the interweb. but most of us can't and also the memory of what alchemy ingredients have been discovered when playing an individual charater will become blurred. I am positive that I have used it before, but cant seem to find it again to save my life. To those of you that can memorize all 94 ingredients and all 4 attributes of each I appologise. I am looking for a console command that will allow me to learn all the ingredient effects for alchemy. It will appear on top of it, just like in Breezehome, but the alchemy lab will recognize it as a place to find ingredients.Дid any of you actually read what Caver said in the OP post and post #17, and not just blert out irrelevant gibberish about dumping stuff in random containers.ДЄlchemy currently has 94 ingredients listed on the UESP wiki, each of those ingredients has upto 4 effects so just with two alchemy ingredients combined we are now upto 376 combinations for a potion. Let us store our apothecary bag 'inside' our alchemy lab. When I'm mixing potions, I just spam the button as fast as I can. Oh, and for the record, I have never payed attention to what makes what. Hopefully there is information in there that helps you manage your inventory. There needs to be higher difficulty levels, honestly. For the most part, these recipes attempt to make the best use of the ingredients involved-that is, I have avoided listing. I already have a huge surplus in a cabinet, of potions that I found, so I don't have to carry too much. This list was created with an eye towards fast, sustainable leveling: All recipes only contain ingredients which you can buy, and the most accessible (that is, consisting of fairly profitable and common ingredients) have been listed alongside the most profitable. I had originally planned to level it later. I suppose, then, that leveling alchemy will just make me weaker, with no benefit. There are way too many potions just sitting around in the game and looted. The reason I don't make potions is because I have no need for them.

I seperate things, like ingredients, food, smithing, enchanting stuff, in different storage areas. You can store things in drawers and cabinets as well. I go on adventures, I come home, stuff them in the chest. In fact, I think there is a pouch there on the alchemy lab! I store only ingredients in the chest near the alchemy lab in Breezehome. As such, I prefer not to use this glitch (personally, I use the unofficial patches anyway as they fix a lot of quest bugs).I've collected thousands of ingredients on my current character. This glitch can result in super-powered equipment very early in the game, making all skill progression and levelling utterly irrelevant. You can also make a super-strong fortify enchanting potion while you're there to vastly increase the strength of any new enchantments, allowing you to make stronger fortify alchemy armor.

This will allow you to make an even stronger potion. Drink the new stronger restoration potion and re-equip your gear. Drink a 'Fortify Restoration' potion then equip your alchemy gear, make a new, stronger fortify restoration then remove your gear. You gain cooking skill as you make meals, and unlock new recipes as you go along. There are more ingredients and a ton more recipes. Before modding I was enjoying cooking, but after adding this mod, cooking is so much more fun.

In the un-modded game, Fortify Restoration potions also increase the efficacy of 'Fortify Skill' effects, including those from enchantments. One of my favorite mods is the Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul by kryptopyr. The second glitch can be used to make almost infinitely powerful potions. You can equip a Falmer helmet and a circlet at the same time, this allows you to have an extra fortify alchemy enchantment active.
